About the Owner

Greg Anderson is a PhD candidate in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at Saint Mary's University and a part-time professor in the SMU Department of Psychology.

Greg's research focus is on how individual differences in worker motivation, empathy and personality relate to outcomes such as burnout, work effort, commitment, person-job fit, performance and turnover. Greg also has significant expertise in latent profile analysis (LPA), a statistical procedure that allows workers to be grouped into specific psychological profiles or 'types' based on their pattern of responding to specific psychological variables.

This line of inquiry has formed the basis of his published research, and is a core service offered at WPR. By using LPA to explore ideal types of workers via scientifically validated profiles, Greg is committed to helping organizations identify the best individuals for the job. Greg's latest research focuses on how specific leader behaviours relate to employee well-being. Recently, he has developed a scale to assess toxic positivity in leaders and its correlation with employee stress, anxiety and turnover intentions.
